Alumni Board Meeting Minutes
June 5, 2013 5:15-6:30 p.m.
Attendance: Lynn Christofferson, Leslie Steward, Jerry Atkinson, Lisa Booth, Jim Rowe, Rachel Craspay, Rachael Leavitt and Denice Davis.
Treasurer’s Report: Checking $16,119.30, savings $3009.50; time account $10,104.86
Lynn called the meeting to order at 5:15 p.m. Minutes were posted on the computer after last meeting. Leslile moved we accept and Rachel C. seconded. Treasurer’s report was given. Mustang 5K Fundraiser corporate sponsors $2400.00, runners $1706.20: expenses of $1753.62. Regular checking $4075.00 dues & scholarship donations; $3850.00 = 154 dinners (27 chickens) add in 20 from senior class and help and we are at 189 dinners. TOTAL deposited thus far is 2013 thus $6762.20 and from the Mustang 5K $3106.20 for a total of $9,868.40.
Mustang 5K was discussed with financial and Saturday’s events.
Dues for scholarships was discussed, because more and more are not paying. We will reword the invitation in January. Also late fees for registering for Annual Banquet.
Scholarships: Amounts presented by Alumni Association. Recipients MUST ATTEND THE Alumni Banquet on Saturday June 8, 2013 unless there is a valid excuse and they have talked to the Alumni Association before the Banquet evening.
Valedictorian-Samantha Dennler $1500.00
Salutatorian-Sarita Jo Condie $1000.00
General Scholarship-Myra Ramos $ 750.00
General Scholarship-Laura Milich $ 750.00
General Scholarship-Rocio Torres $ 750.00
Mary Ryan Memorial-Victoria Mapson $ 750.00
Louetta Thomas Memorial-Gabrielle Switzer $ 750.00
A. Stone Memorial-Kameron Mitchell 600.00

Sarita Jo Condie will be given the leadership award by the Alumni Association. Her name will be engraved on the plague and she will be presented with a certificate.
We have two bartenders for the evening. They earn $75.00 + tips. Last call for bar around 11:30 p.m.
Banquet: set up, decorate: Friday, June 7 about 5:00 at the Community Center. We set up napkins and silverware and decorate. Then we place salt and pepper shakers on the tables and the school banner and the curtain in the entryway. Lynn has the 15 red and 15 black tablecloths. County guys set up tables and chairs. Rachael L. wants to set up a computer and as people enter she will get addresses. Rachael L. will get wifi access codes for her computer from Heidi or Steve Foster at Community Center.
Next meeting will be Tues., June 11 at 5:15 p.m. at 400 Irish American Road for the final wrap-up meeting before we begin next January again, this meeting will be mainly financial.
