Alumni Board Meeting Minutes
March 26, 2014 5:15-6:00 p.m.
Attendance: Lynn Christofferson, Lisa Booth, Rachel Craspay, and Jerry Atkinson
Meeting was called to order by President Lynn Christofferson at 5:15 p.m.
Treasurer’s Report: Grads Giving Back $1,104.89
Checking Account $9282.55
Savings Account $3,010.76
Investment time acct. $10,201.26
TOTAL: $23,599.46
Jerry presented the printed invitation bid from Fed-Ex Kinkos for 1500 tri-fold light colored invitation $346.00 They advised they need 24 hours, as they are not too busy right now. Rachel made motion to approve fed-ex kinko invitation bid and Lisa seconded. We are going to ask for PRIOR APPROVAL BEFORE PRINTING.
Jerry showed the list of grads, and how the emails are coming in. Discussion was held about the list.
Lynn called Rachel and she said the Grads Giving Back monies can be used to help make sure we have the $1500 for each valedictorian. There will be sponsor monies coming in and run monies coming in from the 5K. We will have three general scholarships for $750.00. Grads Giving Back may add more scholarships this year and stay with the general scholarship amount of monies.
Lynn called Jody brought her up to speed and asked her if she had anything to add.
Still need a bartender, Rachel suggested she could bartend, she use to do this. She will take over on this job. We need extra ice. Lisa will help with receipts on what was ordered. Rachel will find someone else to help.
Jerry will call Cheryl Bjerke to see about getting the juveniles to help clean up Sunday morning at 9:00 am after the alumni.
Jerry and Denice will be getting invitations out by mid-April. Jerry will do a test copy of Board emails on the board as a blind copy to check and see that they cannot see others addresses. She does not want to compromise anyone’s email.
Next meeting will be Wed., April 30th at 5:15 p.m. at 400 Irish American Road in the shop.
